What We Do

Growing strong ecosystems and industries

We steward the restoration, renewal and future of Alberta’s diverse forests and green spaces, creating opportunity and supporting progress in our communities and economy.

Our Purpose

Strength, vibrance and towering wisdom: If you work in the wild, you know what we mean.

From oil and gas to energy and construction, living landscapes house, support and power Alberta’s industries and communities. At Wild and Pine, we’re proud to partner with our clients to help our province’s people and environment thrive.

Anywhere in Alberta’s wild, we offer a landscape of opportunities to grow your business. We’re not only devoted to environmental services, but also education and leadership in our natural habitats. Through our comprehensive model, we help our clients, partners and industries achieve sustainable results.

Our Difference

As an Alberta-based firm, we bring a local perspective, backing our scientific expertise with extensive field experience.

With environmental technologies emerging faster today than ever, we combine proven concepts with cutting-edge advancements, amplifying the outcome of every project.

We think different. We understand the approach for responsible development is rapidly changing and that our efforts corporately must reflect our best intentions for the future, unlike what has ever been done.

To us, a job is only successful if it’s done right from the outset. Our team provides you with actionable recommendations, and then executes them in an efficient and safe manner.

Intertwined with the past, present and future of our wilderness

Chris thinks big, but grounds his ideas in action. Deeply immersed in the environmental sciences community, Wild + Pine was born after witnessing a gap in restoration and reclamation practices across the province. Since launching the company in 2011, Wild + Pine has built a legacy as leaders and educators who foster the success of clients, research partners, and emerging talent. Chris continues to invest in the local forestry programs and scholarships, while advancing the industry by adopting the best in sustainable technology. In 2018, Chris was named as one of Edmonton’s Top 40 Under 40 business leaders and innovators and continues to push the boundaries of technology with a focus on Nature Based Solutions.
